Prepare the décor before packing
After the event, remove loose ribbon, signage, adhesive, and other temporary accessories before storage. Check each arrangement for dust, moisture, bent stems, or damaged attachments. Photograph the assembled design before taking it apart so the next setup is easier to recreate.
Clean gently and let pieces dry
Use a soft, dry cloth or a gentle brush to remove surface dust. If the product instructions allow light cleaning, use only the recommended method and let every piece dry fully before packing. Avoid strong cleaners or excessive water unless the product documentation specifically says they are suitable.
Protect shape and texture
Do not compress petals, leaves, or fabric flowers under heavy boxes. Wrap delicate sections loosely with clean tissue or soft packing material, and keep heavier components separate from floral surfaces. Label pieces by arrangement, color, or installation zone so they are easier to find later.
Choose a dry storage location
Store artificial flowers away from direct sunlight, high heat, leaks, and damp areas. Extreme conditions can affect color, fabric, adhesives, or support materials. Use a sturdy container and keep the contents off the floor when practical.
Plan for the next event
Before reusing the décor, inspect the pieces again and confirm the new venue dimensions. A flower wall, arch, or aisle arrangement may need a different position or supporting accessory in the next space. Reusing décor works best when the new layout is planned around the actual product dimensions.
Review care information
Care requirements can differ by material and design. Review the product details and Lily’s Moment flower wall care guide when applicable, and contact the store if a specific care question is not answered.
